Good morning everyone-It's Whitney Day and despite the wet weather the last two days, we have an excellent race card to pick from. That said, let's get going with the early post time:
1st Race Saratoga-Daily Doubles- 5/2/1/9 with 11/1
2nd Race Saratoga-#11 Just Steel (6-1) WIN, PLACE & SHOW-This young colt has two races under his belt and showed dramatic improvement from his debut to his last race. If he runs back to his last race, he will be a tough customer. The track condition and the post should also contribute to getting his picture taken to round out the early double.leaf
4th Race Saratoga-#11 Zeebear (8-5) WIN & PLACE Linda Rice entry draws in from the MTO will show why Linda is one of the sharpest trainers on the NYRA circuit and should dominate this rather ordinary field.
8th Race Saratoga-#8 Maple Leaf Mel (2-1) WIN & PLACE This filly just keeps improving and defeating her critics. We were all over her in her last race and were rewarded with the winner and the exacta. She earns her Grade 1 credentials today.
8th Race Saratoga-Pick 3s 8/4/1 with 3/5/2/6 with 6
10th Race Saratoga-#6 Cody's Wish (1-2) **BEST BET** Simply put, this is the best horse racing in America right now and his back story is just amazing! Very rarely does a great human story and a horse with amazing talent collide, but here we are!
